Timothy Sagers, MD
Dr. Sagers is the Medical Director of Business Health Solutions. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed his residency with the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation. Dr. Sagers is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and his medical interests include health management and preventive care.
Nate Brady, MD, MPH
Dr. Brady received his medical degree from the University of Colorado. He completed his residency in occupational medicine and received his Master of Public Health at the University of Iowa. Dr. Brady is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and as a Medical Review Officer. His medical interests include diabetes prevention, risk prediction and medical risk management/cost modeling.
Health and Wellness Coaches:
A coach is a health, fitness and mental-health professional who has completed wellness-coach training and certification from a leading organization. Mercy’s Health Coaches are registered nurses who received training and certification from the Iowa Chronic Care Consortium, and all Wellness Coaches are nationally certified by Wellcoaches Corporation, in partnership with the American College of Sports Medicine.
Dietitians:
A dietitian can help you manage nutrition need through education and counseling. All Mercy dietitians are registered and licensed with experience in counseling people with special diet needs or anyone seeking guidance in sound nutrition.
Personal Trainers:
A personal trainer can develop personalized workout programs based on personal goals, specific job requirements and special medical considerations. Mercy's personal training staff consists of degreed professionals, all of whom hold a national certification.
